Nickel Teflon::
A very special treatment, the characteristics of which are:
- Composition:
- 9-11 % phosphorous (High phosphorous nickel).
- 8-9 % w Teflon ( 20-25 % in volume).
- Uniformity.
- Appearance: Mat grey.
- Hardness:
- Just plated: 300-350 Hv.
- After hardening treatment: 400-450 Hv.
- Corrosion resistance level: Very high.
- Salt fog chamber test (depending on material and coat thickness) up to 1000 hours.
- Maximum recommended thickness: 20 microns.
- Wear resistance: Better than for other processes.
- Non magnetic.
- Sectors: Specially recommended for tools, dies and moulds.
