Nickel Teflon::

A very special treatment, the characteristics of which are:

  • Composition:
    • 9-11 % phosphorous (High phosphorous nickel).
    • 8-9 % w Teflon ( 20-25 % in volume).
  • Uniformity.
  • Appearance: Mat grey.
  • Hardness:
    • Just plated: 300-350 Hv.
    • After hardening treatment: 400-450 Hv.
  • Corrosion resistance level: Very high.
    • Salt fog chamber test (depending on material and coat thickness) up to 1000 hours.
  • Maximum recommended thickness: 20 microns.
  • Wear resistance: Better than for other processes.
  • Non magnetic.
  • Sectors: Specially recommended for tools, dies and moulds.
