Piezas Níquel 4

Medium phosphorous nickel (5-7%)::

This is, among all, the most used coating process. Main characteristics are:

  • Uniformity.
  • Appearance: Bright.
  • Hardness:
    • Just plated: 550-650 Hv.
    • After hardening treatment: 950-1000 Hv.
  • Corrosion resistance level: Medium .
    • Salt fog chamber test (depending on material and coat thickness) < 100 hours.
  • Maximum recommended thickness: 100-125 microns.
  • Wear resistance: Very good.
