A.S. BERRITZEN,S.L. relies on environmentally friendly processes and this stand has led the management of the company to develop and implement an environmental management system based on UNE ISO 14001:2004 (certificate in the process of being granted).
To achieve the targets above the facility is currently provided with the following installations:
- Water Treatment Plant to keep waste water parameters within legal limits.
- Ion Exchange Plant: to reduce water consumption.
- Press Filter: to reduce wastes.
- Evaporator to minimise waste generation. (Waste reduction up to 95%).
- Spectrophotometer for water treatment plant waste water parameter control.
Apart from the above going, the attitude of A.S.BERRITZEN, S.L. towards the Environment led us to remove cyanides and ammonia from all our processes substituting the same by more environmentally friendly alternatives. |
