Piezas Níquel 2

High phosphorous nickel (10,5-12 %):

The best among conventional electroless nickel plating processes. Main characteristics are:

  • Uniformity.
  • Appearance: Semi-bright.
  • Hardness:
    • Just plated: 500-560 Hv.
    • After hardening treatment: Up to 1050 Hv.
  • Corrosion resistance level: Very high.
    • Salt fog chamber test (depending on material and coat thickness) up to 1000 hours.
  • Maximum recommended thickness: 250 microns.
  • Minimum porosity for thickness above 10 microns.
  • Wear resistance: Good.
  • Non magnetic.
  • Sectors: The same as for low phosphorous nickel. Specially recommended for the medical-surgical sector owing to its high resistance to staining and for the food sector.
